Good Riddance

With asynchronous classes, I have the freedom to progress through the material at my own pace. This can be a blessing for myself who can grasp concepts quickly and want to move ahead or for myself who needs extra time to digest the information. It puts me in control of my own self-learning journey.

Since there's no fixed class time, asynchronous learning demands a higher level of self-discipline and motivation. You're responsible for managing your time effectively, staying on track with assignments, and seeking help when needed. It's an opportunity to develop crucial skills like time management and self-motivation.

With the luxury of time to absorb course materials, asynchronous learning encourages reflection and deeper understanding of concepts. As a student myself, I can revisit lectures, readings, and discussions multiple times, reinforcing my learning and fostering a more profound grasp of the subject matter.

I myself sometimes as a student forgets to mute my microphone or inadvertently leave it on during the rest of the class session, resulting in unintended background noises or personal conversations being broadcast to the entire class. These moments can be both embarrassing and amusing, prompting lighthearted jokes and reminders to double-check audio settings.

Whether it's a family member walking into the frame unaware of the ongoing class session or a delivery person ringing the doorbell at an inopportune moment, unexpected guest appearances during asynchronous classes can lead to laughter and shared anecdotes.
